Information for Visitors
The Byblos campus is nestled at the top of the Blat Municipality in Jbeil. Traveling to LAU from the coastal highway, take the Jbeil exit. When heading north from Beirut, cars should continue straight off the exit passing Wooden Bakery to the right. After approximately 30 meters, follow traffic as it bends right up to the traffic light. Continue through this intersection passing the Ksar restaurant. Around 150 meters after passing Byblos Petroleum station, bear to the right off the main road (before passing Moulin D'Or). Now you will be on the recently built LAU drive. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometers until reaching the end where you will see Malik's Bookshop and Subway on the left. Continue straight uphill until you reach the lower gate on your right.
The upper gate can be reached by turning right before reaching the lower gate.
Visitors will be required to check in at the lower gate and do not have access to the upper gate without a parking permit.
There are several options for parking at the university. On-campus parking is available. There are free parking spaces available alongside of the road leading to the lower gate. There are also parking lots both on the upper and lower levels, for a daily charge of L.L. 2,000 (lower level on the left). Students may purchase a parking permit for $80 per semester and $30 per summer module (upper level).
