Alumni & Friends Alumni Relations Office
Welcome to the
Alumni Relations Office
The Alumni Relations Office serves as a link between LAU and its graduates. It helps you stay in touch with the university and provides opportunities for social interaction, networking and volunteer service of all kinds.
Message from the Director
A warm welcome to the alumni, I am delighted to invite you to explore the alumni website which was recently revamped to create an active and vibrant e-community.
As one of our alumni, you belong to a community of over 27,000 alumni in Lebanon and around the world. Twenty-one chapters maintain ties with the university and foster networking among alumni in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Athens, Bahrain, Beirut, Boston, Byblos, Damascus, Detroit, Dubai and Northern Emirates, Eastern Province-KSA, Florida, Jeddah, Kuwait, London, New York/New Jersey, Oman, Qatar, Riyadh, Toronto and Washington, D.C. Chapters also exist for alumni of the School of Pharmacy and the School of Engineering and Architecture. These groups, run by alumni volunteers like you, help organize events, programs and other great opportunities to keep LAU graduates in touch with the university and each other. This website will keep you up to date with your former classmates.
In this era of increased mobility, it is common to find the typical LAU alumni residing in different corners of the world. With the Net Community that we are launching in May, our alumni diaspora can be instantly updated with the latest campus news and events and with other alumni activities worldwide.
Without our alumni, our university will be just a collage of buildings without soul and form.
The Alumni Website is all about being Connected - to one another and to LAU. So we will be delighted to hear from you!
Warm Regards,
Abdallah Al Khal ’84, Director of Alumni Relations
