Overview
In compliance with the new Alumni Association Constitution and Bylaws, the University has appointed three officers for the steering committee of the Alumni Association Board for the first transitional year starting October 1, 2006 and extending till September 30, 2007. Mrs. Leila Saleeby Dagher ‘60, former member of the Alumni Board and former Director of Alumni Relations at LAU holds the post of President; Mrs. Doha El Zein Halawi ‘81, former member of the Alumni Association Executive Committee, the post of Vice President; and Mr. Fadi Safadieh ‘84, former Vice President of the Toronto Chapter, the post of Secretary/Treasurer. The mandate of the three officers has been extended for an additional year to end September 30, 2008.
