
For the twelfth year running and following the remarkable success of its 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008 seminars, the Institute for Banking and Finance will offer in summer 2008, top-notch education and training to professionals in Lebanon and the entire region of the Middle East.
This year's seminars s on six important areas in the practice of banking, finance and human resources management.
Sessions are scheduled daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with short coffee breaks and a one-hour lunch break between lectures.
Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance for each seminar
Enrollment is limited to 35 participants per seminar.
Costs per participant are:
If the same participant attends two or more seminars, he (she) will receive a 10 percent discount on the total costs. If an institution sends three or more participants to attend one seminar, it will receive a 10 percent discount. Discounts may be cumulative.
Amounts include tuition, stationery, reading material, lunch, and coffee breaks.

Dr. Joseph F. Sinkey will deliver the first seminar on Bank Risk Management. Dr. Sinkey received a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College in 1971. He was the Hiles Professor of Financial Institutions at the University of Georgia, USA. Dr. Sinkey has given seminars and speeches throughout the United States and in Bratislava, Byblos, Istanbul, London, Lyon, Montevideo, Oslo, Phnom Penh, Rome, Seoul, Taipei, Tours, and Vilnius. Professor Sinkey has distinguished himself as an outstanding researcher, author, and teacher. He is the author of seven books.
Mr. Phillip Borzilleri, Senior Vice President of M&A, (Morin & Associates) is a respected and popular consultant, coach and speaker with over 25 years of experience in operations, customer services, employee relations, and training. He has worked closely with dozens of managers to produce measurable financial, service, and quality results. Phillip is also a professor at the Keller Graduate School of Management in St. Louis, USA.
