Summer 2003 Seminars
For the seventh year running and following the remarkable success of its recent yearly seminars, the Institute for Banking and Finance will offer in summer 2003, top-notch education and training for banking and finance professionals in the Middle East.
This year's seminars focus on five important areas in the practice of banking, finance, investment and human resources management:
- International financial markets
- Branch managers' workshop (advanced)
- The impact of the new USA PATRIOT Act on foreign banks operating in and outside the U.S.
- How to select and keep the best financial services personnel in your marketplace
- Business development for bankers (advanced)
Duration
Sessions are scheduled daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with short cofee breaks and a one-hour lunch break between lectures, except for the second seminar (for branch managers), which will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Certificate of Attendance
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for each seminar.
Enrollment
Enrollment is limited to 30 participants per seminar.
Costs
The costs per participant are:
- International Financial Markets: $1,000
- Branch Managers' Workshop: $600
- The Impact of the New USA PATRIOT Act on Foreign Banks: $300
- How to Select and Keep the Best Financial Services Personnel: $300
- Business Development for Bankers: $300
- If you sign up for more than one seminar, you will be entitled to a 10% discount.
Note: Amounts include tuition, stationery, reading materials, lunch and coffee breaks.
Accommodation
Hotel accommodation is available for participants for the duration of the seminars for an additional fee of $75 per day, including breakfast.
