September 2003 Seminars on Auditing

The Institute for Banking and Finance at the Lebanese American University and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)-Lebanon Chapter will offer the following two seminars in September 2003:

  1. Risk-Based Auditing (September 11-12, 2003)
  2. Best Practices Bank Internal Auditing (September 13, 2003)

Location:

Conference Room, Irwin Hall, Lebanese American University, Beirut Campus

Duration:

Sessions are scheduled daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with short coffee breaks and a one-hour lunch break between lectures.

Certificate of Attendance:

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for each seminar. Participants will earn one credit of university education if they attended both seminars.

Enrollment:

Enrollment is limited to 35 participants per seminar.

Costs:

  1. The cost of the first seminar is $700.
  2. The cost of the second seminar is $350.
  3. If a participant attends both seminars, he/she will receive a 10 percent discount on both.
  4. Participants who are members of the Institutes of Internal Auditors and attend both seminars will receive a 15 percent discount. If they attend one seminar they will receive a 10 percent discount.
