July 2008 Seminars

For the tenth year running and following the remarkable success of its 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 seminars, the Institute for Banking and Finance will offer in summer 2008, top-notch education and training to professionals in Lebanon and the entire region of the Middle East.

This year's seminars focus on four important areas in the practice of banking, finance and human resources management.

Duration

Sessions are scheduled daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with short coffee breaks and a one-hour lunch break between lectures.

Certificate of attendance

Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance for each seminar.

Enrollment

Enrollment is limited to 30 participants per seminar.

Cost

Costs per participant are:

If the same participant attends two or more seminars, he (she) will receive a 10 percent discount on the total costs. If an institution sends three or more participants to attend one seminar, it will receive a 10 percent discount. Discounts may be cumulative.

Amounts include tuition, stationery, reading material, lunch, and coffee breaks.

Seminar Leader

Mr. Phillip Borzilleri, Senior Vice President of M&A, (Morin & Associates) is a respected and popular consultant, coach and speaker with over 25 years of experience in operations, customer services, employee relations, and training. His broad background includes experience with major U.S. corporations such as Control Data, Contel, GTE (Now known as Verizon) and BJC Healthcare. He is experienced at working with all organizational levels from the frontline to the boardroom. Phillip’s training and mentoring has been critical to the success of many work groups and teams. He has worked closely with dozens of managers to produce measurable financial, service, and quality results. Recently he has presented at the Virginia Bankers Association, Florida Bankers Association, Oregon Bankers Association, Indiana Bankers Association, and the Massachusetts Bankers Association.

In addition to the Branch Manager’s series, Phillip has facilitated training on a wide range of business topics including leadership, Total Quality Management, performance improvement, performance measurement, service excellence, managing change, employee motivation, time management, communication skills, coaching for performance, and team development. Along with this expertise, Phillip is a certified professional for the administration of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC leadership assessment, and the Leadership Styles Inventory (LSI).

Phillip is also a professor at the Keller Graduate School of Management in St. Louis, Missouri where he teaches “Leadership & Organizational Behavior” as part of the (MBA) Master’s in Business Administration program.

This combination of business experience and solid academic research consistently results in insights and solutions beyond the conventional “business as usual” approaches.
