Seminar: The Highly Effective Leader
This seminar will teach you how to become an influential and inspirational force in your organization.
July 9, 2009
Every manager is also a leader in her or his organization. While both aspects of a manager’s job are important, it is the leadership component that separates the great from the good. The goal of this seminar is to develop in you the attributes of great leaders.
This seminar will teach you to:
- Distinguish clearly between your role as manager and leader
- Understand and compare in detail the mindsets and behaviors that distinguish constructive
leadership styles from less effective styles
- Assess and accept your current leadership style using the Lifestyles Inventory® or Q4 Assessment.
- Examine how your current behaviors affect the level of engagement and motivation of others
- Pinpoint your strengths and challenges: maximize strengths-minimize challenges
- Spot effective and ineffective behaviors in yourself and others
- Adopt effective behaviors and handle ineffective behaviors without alienating others
- Create a personal Leadership Development Process (LDP) for continuous growth
Pre-Work on the Internet:
