Seminar: Getting the Most from Key Staff Members Using the DISC Assessment

June 29, 2010

“No business or organization can produce outstanding service unless its managers visibly and consistently engage each employee to focus her/his energy, talents and skills on achieving organizational goals. A manager’s ability to communicate well (or not-so-well) affects sales and profitability.”

Adapted from Industrial and Labor Relations Review, January 2004

Each day when you walk into your organization, you face the challenge of interacting effectively with many personality types. One person may seem to be worried/skeptical, another enthusiastic, and a third person is openly challenging you. How you understand and relate to each person you work with affects sales, productivity, and profitability.

In order to lead individuals, you must get to know her/his personality “type” and how to communicate in ways that appeal to her/his natural “built-in” priorities, values, and needs. But how do you do this as manager

?

The DiSC® Assessment is the state-of-the-art tool for understanding and managing inter- personal dynamics in a work setting.

DiSC will give you the ability to build trust and rapport while keeping employees focused on results! Rather than seeing differences as a “problem,” you’ll begin to see them as strengths and you’ll be able to harness these strengths for the benefit of everyone.
