Tens of millions of financial consumers now consider the web as their primary source for information when making a purchase. Most organizations rely on websites to inform and attract customers. Yet customers report difficulty getting information from a person on- line. We’ve gone beyond websites and blogs. Today’s consumers want immediate and personal attention. The key tool is social networking. Websites and blogs are important, but they’re only part of a system of on-line marketing tools that financial services managers must master if they are to be successful in the coming decade.
