After three consecutive successful Fall semesters, and due to popular demand we are now announcing the addition of a Spring semester program at the SINARC Institute. Our second Spring semester is due to start on the 23rd of January, 2012 and extends through the 27th of April, 2012.
This 14-week Spring program is designed to provide students with ample time to extend their experience beyond the limitations of the classroom and to engage in further or more advanced language learning, and experiences.
Our purpose behind the Spring semester is to provide another long-term semester experience to interested students, in being further immersed in the Lebanese experience, and the way of life. We also wish to use this semester as an add-on to the Fall semester, thus giving students the opportunity to do a full-year immersion program.
Courses offered at this level would be the Intermediate and Advanced levels of Modern Standard Arabic plus the course in Arabic Language Writing Skills. We also have added a new course: Principles of Translation which is designed to serve as a bridge between both the Arabic and the English languages, thus enriching the students’ vocabulary, terminology, and syntax.
