Students who register for and successfully complete during the summer any of the intensive courses receive eight hours of university credit. The Fall and Spring Semesters earn the student a total of fourteen (semester) credits. On the basis of student performance, LAU provides letter grades, which can be transferred to the students' home institutions for credit evaluation. LAU is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York. Our Credits are transferable to most Institutions of Higher Education across the Globe, and with the LAU's recent accreditation by NEASC in May 2010, this accomplishment adds to the validity and professionalism of the Institute.
