Course Outline

The course is a hands-on course that covers: Tools and APIs required to build applications for the iPhone and iPad platform using the iOS SDK; User Interface designs for mobile devices and unique user interactions using multi-touch technologies; Object Oriented design using Model-View-Controller paradigm; Memory management; Objective-C programming language.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for beginners in mobile phone applications programming. Participants are expected to be proficient in modern object oriented programming languages, Java or C++.

Registration, Fees and Deadline

Registration Fees are $220 per person and $180 for LAU students and alumni (includes coffee breaks and handouts), to be paid at LAU, Beirut, Business Office, Irwin Hall, Ground floor (opening hours are 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 – 3:00 PM).

Deadline for registration and payment is Monday, June 4, or until the class is full (limited places).
