Course Outline

Overview:
This short course will enable participants to understand the professional approach to project management and to apply the project management concepts to IT projects.

Course objectives:

  • Introduce projcts and project management discipline
  • Explain project phases as defined by Project Management Institute
  • Clarify the importance and benefits of project management for IT projects
  • Learn how to:
    • Set realistic, measurable and useful objetives
    • Develop practical project plans
    • Monitor and control project tasks
    • Benefit from project experience
    • Identify the IT project manager’s essential skills

Registration, Fees and Deadline

Registration Fees are L.L. 250,000 per person (includes coffee breaks and handouts), to be paid at LAU, Beirut, Business Office, Irwin Hall, Ground floor (Regular opening hours are 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon and 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM).

Deadline for registration and payment is Thursday April 20, or until the class is full (LIMITED PLACES).
