Course Outline
PHP is a scripting language used to add executable content to web pages. This short course covers the fundamentals of programming in PHP and its interfacing to relational databases. It uses a running hands-on exercise that leads to building a small web site.
Day 1:
- Module 1: Concepts and Basics
- Module 2: Making Choices
- Module 3: Loops and Control Structures
- Module 4: Data
- Module 5: Querying MySQL Database
Day 2:
- Module 6: Interacting With the User
- Module 7: Sessions and Users
- Module 8: Building a Typical Data-Driven Web Site

Registration, Fees and Deadline
Registration Fees are L.L. 180,000 per person (includes
coffee breaks and handouts), to be paid at LAU, Beirut,
Business Office, Irwin Hall, Ground floor (Summer opening
hours are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
Deadline for registration and payment is Friday, July 14,
or until the class is full (limited places).
