Course Outline
.NET is setting new standards in exchanging information through standard XML concepts. Being an open technology, Web Services would allow the programmer to provide single point of access for windows or web applications. The course agenda is presented below:
09:00-11:00 Introduction to Visual Studio 2005 IDE MSIL, and VB.NET
11:00-11:15 Coffee Break
11:15-13:15 Windows Forms Development and Web Services Consumption
13:15-14:00 Lunch Break
14:00-15:30 Data Access with ADO.NET 2.0 and XML Web Services
15:30-15:45 Coffee Break
15:45-18:00 Implementing a Sample Web Site using Web Services Architecture

Registration, Fees and Deadline
Registration Fees are $ 120 per person (includes coffee breaks and handouts), to be paid at LAU, Beirut, Business Office, Irwin Hall, Ground floor (Regular opening hours are 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon and 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM).
Deadline for registration and payment isThursday April 5, 2007, or until the class is full (limited places).
