Course Outline
This short course will enable participants to deploy a Windows 2003 server within a TCP/IP network structure using a hands-on approach.
Course objectives:
- Introduce TCP/IP network structure
- Implementation of a Windows 2003 server
- Management of a Windows 2003 server
- Learn how to:
- Set Windows 2003 policies
- Develop practical security techniques
- Monitor and control various server tasks
- Monitor and control different servers roles
Course outline:
- TCP/IP network and Server goals and objectives
- Server Parameters and Installation
- Implementation Phase and Fine tuning
- Setting up Users and Management
- Monitor and control. Security related issues
A real server prototype will be used.

Registration, Fees and Deadline
Registration Fees are $ 120 per person (includes coffee breaks and handouts), to be paid at LAU, Beirut, Business Office, Irwin Hall, Ground floor (Regular opening hours are 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon and 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM).
Deadline for registration and payment is Monday December 18, 2006, or until the class is full (limited places).
