The Lebanese American University invites applicants for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of English language. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in English and several years of teaching experience in the relevant field at the university level. She/he will be expected to teach English language courses (ranging from remedial to sophomore rhetoric and oral communication) and literature courses at the undergraduate level. Ability to participate in the M.A. Program in Comparative Literature is a plus. The successful candidate will also be expected to be active in research and to perform service to the Department of Humanities and the School of Arts and Sciences at the University.
