THE LEBANESE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Analytical Chemistry effective February 2008 or October 2008. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field as well as Postdoctoral Experience. A commitment to excellence in teaching, research and services to the School of Arts & Sciences and University is expected. The Division of Natural Sciences is a highly focused research unit with a newly established Center for Genomics and Proteomics offering a plethora of collaborations at the interface of Biology and Chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to perform research that leads to refereed publications. Interest and experience in proteomic, biomarker and/or metabonomic-related research is desirable as well as experience in instrument operation and maintenance.
