The Department of Hospitality and Marketing at the Adnan Kassar School of Business at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Hospitality and Tourism Management effective fall 2019.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from an AACSB-accredited program. ABDs will be considered if the expected completion date is by summer 2019.  This position requires teaching courses at the undergraduate level, especially in the areas of Food & Beverage, Events Management, and Lodging Management, scholarly research, advising, and service activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to contribute to the mission of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program, which seeks to prepare graduates to be ready to meet the needs of the industry and become leading professionals in their field. The mission is achieved through sound theoretical course work, research and innovative learning activities, industry engagement and service learning. Salary and fringe benefits are competitive.

The Adnan Kassar School of Business is AACSB accredited and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Department of Hospitality Management and Marketing offers a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management, the only AACSB accredited hospitality programs in Lebanon.
