The Lebanese American University invites applications for part-time faculty positions for teaching Special Arabic effective Fall 2013. The position requires an M.A. degree in Arabic. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching Arabic for non-native speakers or foreigners at universities or language institutes.

The Department of Humanities (http://sas.lau.edu.lb/humanities/) is one of the seven departments of the School of Arts and Sciences (http://sas.lau.edu.lb/). The department offers a B.A. degree in Arabic Language and Literature, a B.A in English, a B.A. in History, a B.A. in Philosophy, and an M.A. degree in Comparative Literature.
