Assistant/Associate Professor, Architecture

The Department of Architecture & Interior Design in the School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for a full time faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for the academic year 2014–15 for its Byblos and Beirut Campuses.

The candidate for this position should be able to teach the basic survey courses in architectural history and theory, as well as seminars and other related courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. The ability to teach architectural design studios is a plus.

Minimum Requirements: a Ph.D. in architecture, architectural history or art history, with teaching experience in this area.

Duration of position: This position will be open in FALL 2014, which starts by mid-September and is renewed on a yearly basis according to university policies that apply to full time faculty.
