The Department of Art and Design in the School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Faculty position in Fashion Design at the Assistant/ Associate Professor or Lecturer  level for the academic year 2018-19.

Candidates to this post must hold an MFA in Fashion Design (or related field) and have significant teaching experience. S/he should combine an aptitude for teaching with knowledge of current practices in the fashion world. The candidate should be able to demonstrate proficiency in a range of technical skills and should be capable of teaching any/all of the rigorous and stimulating courses listed on the following link, with a focus of design studios: http://sard.lau.edu.lb/departments-institutes/design/fd-courses.php

This position will be open for Fall 2018 (which starts in late August) and carries an 18 credit/year teaching load. The initial contract may be renewed upon mutual satisfaction between the faculty member and the institution. For more information on faculty personnel policies:
