The Department of Art + Design in the School of Architecture + Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for a Visiting Faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. This position is for the academic year 2018-19.

The qualified candidate would have a degree in Fashion Design ( with preference given for MA/MFA holders) and combine an aptitude for teaching with knowledge of current practices in the fashion world. The candidate should be able to demonstrate proficiency in a range of technical skills and should be capable of teaching any of the rigorous and stimulating courses listed on the following link, with a focus of design studios: http://sard.lau.edu.lb/departments-institutes/design/fd-courses.php

This position will be open for Fall 2018 (which starts in late August) and may be renewed on a yearly basis according to university policies that apply to visiting faculty.
