The Department of Architecture and Design at the School of Engineering and Architecture (located in Beirut, Lebanon) invites applicants for a Part-Time faculty position for Fall 2008-09. (duration of position: one semester) The candidate should be able to teach Design Studios on Foundation Program. The Foundation Program is a program common to majors in Architecture, Interior Design & Graphic Design. Teaching experience in Foundation is requiered. Candidates should hold a masters degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Architecture, Interior Design or Graphics Design and should be able to teach 2D and/ or 3D studios. The Design Studios in 2-D and 3-D are directed towards the development of a comprehensive and non vocational approach to design, wich emphasizes visaul perception, analitycal interpretation and plastic studies in wood and others materials.
