The Lebanese American University invites applications for part-time faculty positions in various areas of Civil Engineering effective Fall 2017. Candidates are preferred to have an earned Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable University. However, holders of a Master’s degree with extensive professional experience may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching at the undergraduate level. Currently, the department is in need of part-time teaching faculty who are well experienced in the following areas:

  1. Construction Engineering and Management
  2. Water Resources (Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics)
  3. Environmental Engineering (Water Distribution and Treatment)
  4. Transportation Engineering (Highway Engineering)
  5. Geotechnical Engineering (Soil Mechanics and Lab, Advanced Geotechnical Engineering)
  6. Structural Engineering (Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Construction Materials, and some Labs)

The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the three departments of the School of Engineering. The Department offers a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering and a M.Sc. in Civil End Environmental Engineering.
