The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for possible teaching opportunities in Electrical Engineering effective Spring 2015 (classes start Jan 28). Candidates are preferred to have earned a Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from a reputable University. Currently, the department needs part-time teaching faculty who are well experienced in the following course:

ELE 420 Electromechanics

This course covers three-phase circuit concepts; magnetic circuits; energy storage and conversion; force and emf production; forces and torques of electric origin in electromagnetic systems; power transformers and autotransformers; principles of electric ac machines; synchronous generators; three-phase and single-phase induction motors.
