Scholarship for PhD Studies in Nursing

The Lebanese American University will be providing a number of scholarships to students admitted into Nursing PhD programs in the USA. Recipients of these scholarships will commit to return and join the LAU School of Nursing upon completion of their degree.

Candidates wishing to apply to these scholarships must send their application to the following address:

Application file should include:

1. A statement of purpose to demonstrate interest in higher education and commitment to nursing at LAU
2. Intended specialty when applicable
3. Official transcript of grades
4. GRE scores when relevant,
5. TOEFL scores or other proof of English proficiency
6. A resume, and two letters of recommendation
7. Written evidence that student is admitted to PhD program in an accredited nursing school in the US, or is in the process of applying
8. Official documents showing the PhD student fees that the university charges

Priority will be given to LAU staff and students. Graduates may apply within five years from graduation. Students currently enrolled in a PhD program may also apply.
