The Continuing Education Program is currently looking for a Program Coordinator (part-time position) to be located in Tripoli - Safadi Foundation.
Here is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the North. The Continuing Education Program, a division of the Lebanese American University in collaboration with the Safadi Cultural Center, provides Tripoli and the North with a variety of course offerings, workshops, and certificate programs. CEP customizes and develops programs to meet the needs of the general public.
CEP/LAU Coordinator at the Safadi Cultural Center is the main drive behind program registrations. A self-directed individual who supports, promotes, and runs all courses, seminars, and workshops held in Tripoli and the North.
Position Skills & Responsibilities:
- Develop awareness about program through active promotion by phone, email, and communication with all walk in inquiries.
- Drive registrations and report numbers daily.
- Make habitual outgoing marketing calls to prospects.
- Develop client database to evaluate and update daily.
- Assess goals weekly.
- Submit weekly operation report.
- Develop and keep track of marketing plans.
- Organize ongoing events and monitor implementation.
- Prepare enrollment sheets, reports and bank receipts.
- Follow up with program attendees.
- Coordinate with appropriate parties regarding all necessary planning.
- Document all info related to enrollment for every program/workshop offered.
- Ensure all documents are updated and in line with CEP-LAU procedures.
- Update program coordinator on class schedules.
- Develop Action plan as needed for events.
- Attend weekly internal meetings to reassess objectives and set goals.
- Visit goals daily and reassess weekly.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, or related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: positive, upbeat, outgoing personality, self-driven, good phone skills, excellent communication skills, problem solver, self-motivated, action-oriented, and goal-determined.
