IT Helpdesk Administrator

The IT Department - Beirut Campus is currently looking for a Helpdesk Administrator to be mainly responsible for assisting faculty, staff and students with technical issues through the centralized support system of the Helpdesk.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Provides technical assistance to users by answering the Helpdesk telephones and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Logs all calls in the Helpdesk database.
- Assists users on how to use email, Internet/Intranet and MS Office Suite and all kind of deployed software.
- Assist Senior Helpdesk Administrator in maintaining licenses as well as Hardware & Software Management.
- Analyzes recurring problems submitted to IT and propose and follow up on solutions with Senior Helpdesk Administrator.
- Monitor the work of student assistants.
- Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BE, BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in IT helpdesk support or in a customer relation field.
- Good computer skills in MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are absolutely necessary.
- Effective verbal and written English skills.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Ability to work proactively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
