The IT Department - Beirut Campus is currently looking for a Helpdesk Assistant (part-time position).
Job Description:
The IT Helpdesk Assistant provides technical assistance to users by answering the Help Desk phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner. The duties include:
- Assisting Faculty and Staff working on both Windows and Macintosh platforms; this includes Email (Webmail, MS Outlook, Mail, and Entourage), Microsoft Office suite and other general University applications (Oracle, Banner, Online Applications and Remedy).
- Assisting Faculty and Staff with general Network, Telecom and Hardware problems.
- Assisting students with Webmail, Portal, Banner and wireless connection issues.
- Logging all calls in the Remedy helpdesk system.
- Updating the hardware and software inventory.
- Performing other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA/BS from a renowned university
