Library Assistant - Circulation (Beirut Campus)

The Riyad Nassar Library is currently looking for a Library Assistant - Circulation to be located in Beirut Campus. The work schedules are as follows:
Winter Schedule from 1:30 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.
Summer Schedule from 11:30 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.
Position Summary:
The Library Assistant - Circulation is mainly responsible for providing directional and referral assistance to the University community. He/she assists the Circulation Librarian in all activities of the Circulation department.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend to patron needs at the Circulation desk
- Maintain the Circulation records
- Perform basic duties using the Integrated Library System
- Maintain proper shelving of the stacks
- Help in training Student Assistants
- Perform other duties and responsibilities pertinent to this job as assigned or appropriate
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- B.A. or B.S. degree from a renowned university
- One year of experience in a library environment is a plus.
- Good organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good English written and oral skills
- Computer literate
