When you see more than one calendar at the top, you can use the check boxes to show or hide each calendar. For example, the Academic Calendar page is mixed with additional entries as they emerge throughout the year. You can view only the official academic calendar by removing the checkmark next to “Additions.”
The links at the top of the calendar allow you to:
get a printer-friendly view of this calendar
subscribe to the academic calendar (by Email, RSS feed, Atom feed, etc.)
download this view as an iCal-compatible file
subscribe to an RSS feed of the calendar
You can perform various actions on individual events or groups of events. First, select the events you’re interested in, then use the options at the top of the calendar to act on them.
“Add to my calendar” produces a pop-up window where you can choose your calendar (Yahoo, Google, iCal, Outlook, etc.)
“Remind me by email” will send you a message at the time you specify
“Notify me of changes” will send you a message if the event’s location or time changes
“Forward to friends” lets you send event information to up to 10 email addresses at once
“Remind me by txt msg” lets you set up SMS reminders. However, Lebanon carriers are not supported at the moment.
“Download event info” gives you an .ics file that you can add to your iCal or similar application
“Email me event info” sends the event/s' details to the address you specify.
“Txt me event info” sends the event/s' details to the number you specify. Please note that Lebanon carriers are not supported.
You can view the calendar in different ways by selecting options from the appropriate pull-down menu. In addition, the search feature “filters” the current view, displaying only events that contain your keywords.
