Printing Guidelines for Library Users
- To ensure that only registered students are using the computers in LAU libraries, a username and password are required.
- Each valid library end-user will be given an allocation of free-of-charge printing according to the following criteria:

- Students who wish to print more than the allocated free pages will be able to do so by purchasing additional credits using the Credit Request Form whereby they can also check their printing balance. A student can purchase:

- Any online credit request is automatically added to the students’ statement of fees.
- “Use it or lose it.” Unused credits will not be carried forward from semester to semester.
- Make sure to print only what is needed.
- Refund will be given in case of equipment malfunction only.
- Students are responsible to log off before they leave their workstations or anyone will be able to print using their credits. There will be no refund in case the students forgot to log off.
- Any problems with the printers or the Credit Request form should be reported to the Library Computer Center Supervisor on extension 1483.
The print management system and associated guidelines were approved by the university concerned departments: Business Office, IT Department, and Libraries.
N.B: Faculty and staff can print free of charge.
