Gene Spencer is an independent consultant serving the higher education IT and library communities, focusing on areas of organizational effectiveness, leadership development, strategic planning, effective facilities, and synergies between people, information and technology. Most recently, Spencer held the position of Associate Vice President for Information Services and Resources at Bucknell University, Pennsylvania.

Sabrina Pape has served as Director of the Libraries at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, since fall of 1996. Pape’s educational background is in music librarianship where she began her library career, eventually moving into library system work and finally into library administration. As Vassar’s library director, Pape is responsible for a staff of 47 people and a budget of $7 million, of which almost $3 million is directed toward library materials acquisitions. Currently, her professional interests are in re-imagining library organizations and staffing resources.

Rick Anderson is Associate Director for Scholarly Resources and Collections in the J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah. He has previously worked at the University of Nevada and the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and as a bibliographer for YBP, Inc. He speaks and writes regularly on topics related to scholarly communication and the future of libraries.
