Director
Dr. Diane I. Nauffal was charged with establishing the Institutional Research and Assessment Office at the Lebanese American University which she joined in October 1, 2008. Prior to coming to the Lebanese American University, Dr. Nauffal was Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Balamand. In addition to her academic responsibilities Dr. Nauffal assumed several administrative positions. She was instrumental in initiating the Continuing Education Program (CEP) and the Service Experience Education through Doing (SEED) Program, a service learning program, at the University of Balamand after which she was appointed Director of Special Programs.
Dr. Nauffal received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and her Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from the American University of Beirut. She received her Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the University of Birmingham, UK in Educational Management and Policy. Currently Dr. Nauffal is a member of the Association of Institution Research (AIR) in the US and the affiliate Middle East and North Africa Association for Institutional Research (MENA-AIR).
