Position Summary
The Department of Humanities at the Lebanese American University invites applications to a part-time faculty position in the areas of Arabic Language and Literature.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Arabic Language and Literature
- Preference will be given to applicants who are qualified to teach Arabic Grammar and Syntax, Classical Arabic Rhetoric and Literary Criticism, Creative Writing, Arabic Linguistics, Philology and Lexicography.
Qualifications
- An earned M.A or Ph.D. in Arabic Language and Literature from an internationally recognized university
- Evidence of successful university teaching

The Department of Humanities consists of 12 full-time faculty members and a number of part-time faculty. The Department of Humanities are dedicated to excellence in teaching and the faculty is engaged in research and service to the institution and the community.
