The Department of Art and Design at the School of Architecture & Design invites applicants for a part-time faculty position for Fall 2018. Applicants should have teaching experience and demonstrate expertise relevant to the below courses:

GRDE 400/ Thematic Workshop II [2-2, 1 cr.]
This is a studio workshop that provides the students with specialized skills and techniques in the production of their projects. The theme of this workshop will vary and will be set depending on the visual communication mainstream trends and the market demands. Current themes for this course will be relevant to students within their second year of studies in graphic design courses. Pre-requisite: Two credits of GRDE 300 Thematic Workshop I

D. Exhibition Design  

This workshop serves as a brief introduction to exhibition design. The class works together in order to design, display and promote an exhibition. In addition, the role of the curator, various collections and the act of collecting are each addressed. Audience and viewer experience are also explored through the role of interaction.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a MFA or MA in Graphic Design or related fields.

Duration of position: This position will open in Fall 2018 (which starts on August 28, 2018).
