The department of Computer Science & Mathematics is seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members who are committed to innovative teaching, program development and academic advising.

Prospective candidates must have earned an MS or a PhD in Computer Science, or have an extensive experience in the industry. The successful candidate(s) is/are expected to teach any of the below undergraduate courses on the Byblos Campus:

• Cloud Computing
• Mobile Computing
• Artificial Intelligence
• Big Data
• Internet of Things
• Game Programming 

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Computer Science courses and labs 
• Engage in scholarly work and research
• Advise and mentor students
• Additional duties may be set by the department in light of departmental needs and priorities

The Department of Computer Science & Mathematics is one of the seven departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science, a B.S. in Bioinformatics, a B.S. in Mathematics, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied and Computational Mathematics and an M.S. in Computer Science.

LAU has two campuses, one in Beirut and the other in Byblos, about 35 kilometers north of Beirut.
