The Department of English in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applicants to part-time faculty positions in Academic English and Literature.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of academic writing or Literature courses

Minimum Qualifications

• M.A. in English Language, Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, TEFL/TESL or Academic Writing  from a recognized institution
• A Minimum of 3 years of university teaching experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

The Department

The Department of English  consists of  32 full-time faculty and a number of part-time faculty. Faculty in the Department of English are dedicated to excellence in teaching and are engaged in research and service. The University is recognized for excellence in teaching and commitment to research/creative work and serving the community.
