LAU students first to benefit from discounted mobile phone packages
LAU launches the nationwide telecom promotional offer dedicated to university students.
Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Telecommunications Minister Jamal Jarrah last week announced a new initiative to reduce telecoms costs incurred by university students. Today, LAU students are the first nationwide to benefit from the new packages.
LAU was able to offer this great opportunity to its students due to its capacity and technical infrastructure, which enabled swift cooperation with the telecoms providers while maintaining student confidentiality.
For $15 a month, our students can enjoy 5 gigabytes of Internet downloads, as well as free talk-time, text messages and more. This reflects a significant discount off the standard retail price, up to 80 percent in some cases. This offer applies to both subscribers of Touch and Alfa mobile operators.
If you are an LAU student and want to cut your mobile phone bills, sign up via the student portal today!
