In the course of the Beirut World Book Capital 2009 events, the Cyprus Embassy in Lebanon donated a number of valuable — both in content and form — publications and other materials to LAU’s Riyad Nassar Library in Beirut. At a ceremony held Dec. 10 at RNL, the Cyprus Republic ambassador, Dr. Kyriacos P. Kouros, handed over the donation “as a token of appreciation and as a tribute to the friendly and neighborly relations the governments and the people of our two countries are enjoying.”
