The Lebanese American University invites applications for a faculty position in Communication Arts at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor, effective Spring 2012. The position requires a master’s degree at the Instructor level, or a Ph.D. degree or terminal degree at the Assistant Professor level, in a music related field,
specialization open.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in survey of Western and Middle Eastern music, music education, fundamental of music, and chorale. Professional experience in organizing music events /concerts is an asset, as is a solid theoretical grounding.
