The Lebanese American University invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Food Science.
• Candidates must have a PhD in Food Science, Food Chemistry or a related field. Besides demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, experience in industry is preferable.
• Successful candidates are expected to teach, in both Beirut and Byblos LAU Campuses, a variety of courses (including food chemistry, food analysis, industrial food production, food management and food processing.
• In addition to teaching, the successful candidate should contribute to the development of the program, and perform academic services to the Department and to the University.
• The incumbent is expected to engage in strong, especially interdisciplinary research programs in food science, food safety and food technology.
