The Foundation Program in the School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for a visiting professor at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for the academic year 2012-13 for both its Campuses.

The Foundation Program is a program common to all entering students in Architecture, Interior Design and Graphic Design. The program is seeking visiting faculty to teach mainly foundation design studios, which are directed towards the development of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to design, emphasizing visual perception, analytical interpretation and plastic studies. The ideal candidate should be able to teach Foundation Design Studios [2D and/or 3D], and to actively participate in the development of the Foundation program.

Minimum Requirements: a Masters in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Design, or Architecture with Teaching Experience.

This position is renewable for a second academic year in case of mutual interest, and the selected candidate may also apply to any future openings in the program after completing one year as a visiting professor.
