The Department of Architecture and Design in the new School of Architecture & Design invites applicants for a visiting position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for one academic year in its Beirut Campus. The candidate should be able to teach mainly Design Studios in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, in addition to other courses depending on the candidate’s expertise.

Minimum Requirements: A Masters Degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture, in addition to teaching experience.

Duration of position: This position is open for the full academic year 2012-2013 [starting September 24, 2012 and ending June 17, 2013].
Alternatively, the school may consider applicants who are interested to teach only during the Fall term [September 24- February 12] or the Spring Term [February 18 - June 17]. Applicants who can only teach for one term are asked to state this in their application.
This position is renewable for a second academic year in case of mutual interest, and the selected candidate may also apply to any future openings in the program after completing one year as a visiting professor.
