Social Media Specialist for the Outreach & Civic Engagement (Part-time position)

The Outreach and Civic Engagement Office has a vacancy for Social Media Specialist (part-time position). The position is based in Beirut Campus, but periodic commuting to Byblos Campus is required.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- The USP Social Media Specialist will assist the USP team in maintaining and developing the various social media platforms in order to brand and mark the program and all its activities
- Generates, edits, publishes, and shares daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) about all the activities and events of the USP program
- The USP Social Media Specialist will coordinate with the USP Branding and Marking Assistant
- Manages the communication related to the OCE office
- Performs other related duties as and when required
- Reports to the Assistant Vice President of Outreach and Civic Engagement
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- BA/BS from a renowned university. A Master’s degree is a plus
- Work experience in a similar position for 2 years or more
- Basic professional experience in photography and graphic design
- Proven working experience in social media, online marketing, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Arabic
- Knowledge of the American system of education; Knowledge of other systems is a plus
- Must be a team player; takes initiative and is proactive
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
