English Proficiency Scores

English is the official language of instruction at LAU and applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the language by submitting the official scores of ONE of following tests:

Based on your test results, you may be required to take, or may be exempted from, certain courses at LAU. The chart below explains the basic rules:

You will be placed in the Intensive English Program and start with IEP002. You are not allowed to start with the major courses.

You are exempt from ENG009 Remedial English, ENG101 Academic English I, and ENG102 Academic English II.
