Position: Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Project Focus: Wireless Cooperative Networks with Energy -Harvesting Relays

Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to the project “Relay Selection Strategies for Buffer-Aided Wireless Cooperative Networks with Energy -Harvesting Relays” at the Lebanese American University. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of physical-layer wireless communication systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct innovative research to develop novel solutions for optimizing wireless cooperative networks.
Conduct simulations and perform a theoretical analysis to meet the project’s objectives.
Work under the supervision of the project PI to advise advanced relay selection policies.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at conferences.
Assist in the supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students.
Applicants have the option to teach up to 6 credits per academic year.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
A solid background in communication theory, signal processing and queuing theory.
Strong Mathematical background in probability theory and Markov chain analysis.
Experience in simulating physical-layer communication solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented research environment.
