“Human Rights Film Festival 2008” Festival is being organized by the Institute of Diplomacy and Conflict Transformation in partnership with the United Nations Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights and World Vision. The project is dedicated to promote human rights through the powerful stories produced by young people and screened to schools, universities and public. Project is sponsored by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with support from the World Vision and LAU.
“Human Rights Awareness Program for Lawyers” Program is being organized by the Tripoli Bar Association in collaboration with the Institute of Diplomacy and Conflict Transformation and United Nations Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights. The program aims to build and enhance human rights capacity of lawyers and promote application of human rights standards in the Lebanese judiciary system. The program will consist of a year-long series of lectures and targets lawyers and trainees registered at the Tripoli Bar Association.
